NOTICE: Effective May 12, 2008 the Platte County Sheriff's Department Civil Process Unit will be updating our service and mileage fee rates in accordance with the IRS 2008 Standard Mileage Rates. The Platte County Sheriff's Department assesses mileage fees in accordance with Missouri Revised Statute 57.280. Listed below is a breakdown of fees by Area/City and Zip Code effective May 12, 2008. Certified mail postage fees are now $5.32 per mailing. Papers submitted to the Platte County Sheriff's Department for service must include payment upon receipt.
