The Platte County Communications Center provides primary, integrated communications support for 23 law enforcement, fire and EMS service agencies in Platte, Clay, Buchanan and Clinton counties. Enhanced 911 service for the Platte County portion of this service area is also managed from the Platte County Communications Center. The mission of the Platte County Communications Center is to provide effective and efficient multi-discipline (law enforcement, Fire & EMS) emergency/non-emergency service and resources to the citizens within the applicable service boundaries. The Platte County Communications Center is staffed by communications personnel trained in this multi-discipline approach to public service.
